The World Vote Project is an experiment. It was born from a belief that the US election affects not just Americans over 18 but the entire world.
We’re based in Paris and can’t vote legally in the US. We came together to give people from all ages and all corners of the globe a voice in this critical moment. We may live outside the United States but we understand how much US policies shape global issues such as climate change, immigration, economic stability, and international peace — issues that impact everyone.
Our mission is simple: give everyone, everywhere, the chance to be heard. Even though votes here may be symbolic, they carry the weight of global sentiment. If enough people raise their voices, people will take notice. In fact, thanks to America's electoral system, votes here are arguably no more symbolic as most of the legal votes cast across the US — in all but a few swing states.
In an increasingly interconnected world where wars and climate change transcend borders, every voice matters. With this experiment, we hope to raise awareness and create “global citizens”, giving everyone an equal chance to express their hopes and concerns for the future. Hi I’m Chloe, a French student raised in New York City, which means I’ve been navigating between different cultures and ideas. Debate is one of my biggest passions—I love diving into tough conversations about politics and democracy. That’s why I’m excited to be part of the World Vote project, where we’re giving people around the world a chance to share their views on the U.S. election and see how global perspectives shape our understanding of democracy.

Hi my name is Ximi Rosen, I am almost 14 and have attended 6 different schools in three different countries with three different languages!! I have been able to see how globalized our world has become. A decision taken in Europe has an impact in the rest of the world. The coming U.S. election will certainly affect the rest of the globe which is why I would love to see the result of this experiment!!
