About Us

The World Vote Project began as an experiment by a group of students in Paris who believed that the 2024 US presidential election would affect not just the Americans who had the right to vote, but people everywhere—of all nationalities and ages. Now that the election is over, this is clearer than ever: decisions often transcend borders, and people everywhere are impacted.

So we've evolved. What started as a symbolic vote in one election has grown into something bigger: a platform for global voices on the most pressing issues shaping our shared future—climate change, artificial intelligence, immigration, trade, borders, war and peace, and more. In fact, when you vote on a topic, you can also vote on what our next voting topic should be!

This isn’t a referendum on US policy, any political party, or a look back at the last US election. It’s a neutral space for people everywhere to speak up about global issues that matter to them. Our mission is simple: to give everyone, everywhere, the chance to be heard—regardless of political beliefs or affiliations. The votes here may be symbolic, but when enough voices come together, the world will listen.

Our plan is to use AI to summarize results and broadcast those voices to global leaders and the global media. Imagine an experiment in global democracy where everyone participates—and leaders listen. Our goal is to help leaders make better decisions, informed by global sentiment.

We’re building an ongoing experiment in global democracy—one that invites anyone, regardless of nationality or age, to become a global citizen by voting on big issues and sharing their hopes and concerns for the future. Join us in making this a truly worldwide conversation.

Hi, I'm Chloe — a French student raised in New York City, which means I've been navigating between different cultures and ideas. Debate is one of my biggest passions—I love diving into tough conversations about politics and democracy. That's why I'm excited to be part of the World Vote Project, where we're giving people around the world a chance to share their views and see how global perspectives shape our understanding of democracy.

Hi, my name is Ximi Rosen. I’m almost 14 and have attended six different schools in three different countries—with three different languages!! I've been able to see how globalized our world has become. A decision taken in Europe, China, or the US can impact the rest of the world the very next day. The recent US election certainly affected the whole globe, which is why I'm excited to be part of this experiment in global sentiment!!
